Commands are the 4th and last type of sentence in English, and instead of giving information like statements or asking for information like questions, they give instructions to get something done. The command particle in Toki Pawole is o.

Replace (or insert) o in the place of li (or its versions) or, e to change the sentence to a command.

si li kanpe
si li kanpe
You are shaking.
si o kanpe
si o kanpe
You, shake.

The subject becomes the recipient of the command, and what comes after becomes the instructions.

si o notuwan e osa ni in ni
si o notuwan e osa ni in ni
You, place that peice in there.

There are 3 ways you can use o. There's the vocative, for when you're trying to get someones attention:

ami o!
ami o
Friend! (Trying to get their attention.)
moku ni li peson nun
moku ni li peson nun
This food needs salt.

With all that out of the way, see if you can follow this conversation between two people. Click on spoilers to reveal how I translated sentences. (Remember that Toki Pawole sentences can mean a wide variety of different things, so it doesn't matter if your translations aren't exact.)
